Overnight Eggs
In bottom of
a 9" x 13" sprayed pan, place:
- 6 slices White Bread - cubed
Cover with:
- 1 lb Cheddar Cheese - shredded
Top with some
or all of these optional ingredients:
- 1/4 cup Onions - chopped
- 1/4 cup Green Peppers - chopped
- 1 cup Ham - Chopped
- 1 can Mushrooms - sliced
Beat together:
- 8 Eggs
- 4 cups Milk
- 1 tsp Dry Mustard
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Pepper
Pour egg/milk
mixture over all, being sure to completely cover everything.
Cover pan tightly with foil or plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
In the morning, bake, uncovered, for 1 hour at 350 degrees.
Served with fresh fruit, this makes an easy and absolutely wonderful breakfast/brunch for a large family or guests...AND, leftovers reheat perfectly in the microwave.
