Powdered Sugar Substitute

In a pinch, you can make your own powdered sugar in a food processor. Blend 1/2 cup plus 1Tbsp. Granulated Sugar with 1 Tbsp. Corn Starch. Process to a fine powder.

i love substitutions like this..i'd like to see more of these..like you can use mayo if you are out of eggs, etc. (but what is the ratio?)- i think these are very helpful (especially in a pinch but ive never heard of this powdered sugar one- thanks.
